it doesn't matter but if you wil post more and more press release then google will consider spammy...

if you will post only 10 to 20 press release then it will good for your sites..

I have been posting the same matter to different PR sites.I have not faced any problems till date, however make sure yr PR is informative and does not sound like a promotion. Restrict yr submission to once a week considering there are very few free PR sites.

you can submit your Press Release in all High PR Press Release sites with your same content in all sites it's not an issue of copy content.
and if you are submit it with regular week interval times then the content should be unique for other Press Release.

I usually find when writing a press release trying to make my website or blog as new worthy as possible therefore having the chances increase in picking up more than a one or two backlinks. Of course hoping to hit the news as I have heard some do, but I doubt that will happen.
