Do follow and No follow site

Most Seo's build links to a do follow sites. But don't you think that both gives traffic for your site. So why are you guys gives more priority to a do follow sites.

It never bothers me blog is do-follow or no-follow as I do blog comment posting for traffic not for search engine crawlers. However the people who prefer do-follow blogs want to take twin benefit of backlink for search engine ranking as well as for traffic.

dofollow passes link juice for PR, nofollow still counts as a backlink and a guide to popularity for google. both are important, dofollow slightly more so.

Get the FF 'NO Do Follow' Add On. When helps you see which Forum or Blog is 'Follow, or No Do Follow'.. A forum that Follows (like this Forum) helps allot, I think.

I've read so much about dofollow vs nofollow on blogs. One reason people blog is to generate inbound links to their website. It’s a great benefit of blogging. However, in the pursuit of backlinks, don’t forget to link out to others. Forget about this notion of withholding your link juice. You have to be willing to link out to others. It shows your readers that you are providing them with well-rounded information, and it captures the attention of the bloggers you link out to. By making them aware of your blog, they’ll be more willing to return the favor by linking to you or even letting you guest post on their blog.

if you seek just for traffic then you should submit to no follow and do follow both if you are in seek of ranking in search engine then you should submit to do follow blogs

If you are having your website on do follow sites then it is more valuable and preferred by Google.

I Submit my site in Both site Do follow and No Follow site. I thinks Google give the More priority of the Do follow links.

we give importance to dofollow because it contributes towards improvement in PageRank, along with the traffic.

Don't ignore no follow sites because they will much traffic compared to some do follow sites. For example in social bookmarking sites, most social bookmarking sites are no follow but it gives traffics.

Do follow sites enhances the backlinks for the site which contributes in enhancing the website ranking and increasing the visibility of the website on Search engine.

If a nofollow link can give some targeted traffic, then I will try to get it. But if we are building the link just/only to get PR/link juice, then I will never get that nofollow link

I don't care about do follow or no follow both help in rankings ...

But no follow don't pass PR juice but only amateurs are after PR ...

both dofollow and nofollow links does help our sites. nofollow links can give us traffic and dofollow links can help increase our sites page ranks. If we sum it all the bits and pieces does help our sites ranking and popularity.

I think that a no-follow link can do better like a do-follow link.

For example: traffic. If the no-follow link is on a page that gets 1/2 million visitors per day ?

What you would choose?

Nofollow link building should be done where you are sure that you get will huge traffic from that link. While dofollow should be done where you know the PR of that page and are less concerned about traffic from it. But then relevancy always has an upper hand in any kind of link building. So any of the two in your niche is always a thumbs up.

Dofollow and Nofollow, they're both beneficial to get more traffic, but personally I prefer dofollow first for the link juice.

Also note that if you want to take a considerable degree of advantage out of dofollow links from a page, then make sure the page doesn't have too many outbound links. For example if you find a page to comment on having a PR 4, but the page has over 300 comments, then it will be useless to put your link on that page as all the link juice gets distributed and you won't get any advantage out of that high PR. So do dofollow link building wisely and not blindly.

No follow links will not count as backlinks, but if your site link is no follow on a high traffic site, then there is an advantage. no follow links on low traffic site is a waste of time.

Now follow links are excellent as backlinks, if the site has follow links and high traffic it is a jackpot. Follow links are excellent to build backlinks which provide SERPs. Looking for PR is a waste of time except for people selling links

As a webmaster, my best advise is to focus on your traffic and SERPs, PR is just the icing on the cake. I prefer much more the cake than the icing on the cake lol
