Hi,

We can make our keywords as Anchor tag and can provide hyper linking to some internal pages.
It can effect a lot to rank keywords in SERP.
So Anchor text also plays vital role in on-page SEO.

Well in my opinion, backlinks may not get affected even if your site was posted on irrelevant sites, but the bounce rate of your traffic may increase since your site was placed on non relevant niche.

There is no problem if you are using the old technique as long as it is still effective and your site earns benefit to it. And just make it sure you are using the appropriate keywords.

I recently started using Anchor Text for photos on pages. I hear it helps but I'm not sure it has done much for me. I try to include a keyword or two in the text. Does this really help with page rank?
