where Selling "hidden" text links?

Hello everybody,

I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

I am the owner of a PR5 business website and I would like to sell text links on it to pay my bills.

The site looks really neat and I'm a bit worried that my clients will be offended when they see text links on my site.

So I was thinking about hiding them from the user (but not search engines!) by using certain css hacks like {text-indent: -1000px}.

I know this isn't the most ethical way to sell text links but I am make this clear right from the start and charge a lower price for the text link buyer, I think it's a win-win-situation for both parties.

But will there be any buyers for those kinds of links and where would I sell them?

You need to sell links in the BST sections of forums like V7n and netbuilders. That way you will not be offending clients. I myself would not buy a link if a real person would not see it to click it.

Why would I buy links if they are invisible to users?? Isn't the whole point of a link driving relevant traffic from another channel?

Oh wait, you mean people buy link for the sake of PR? Yeah, I forgot.

No thanks. I'd rather provide quality content or tools to make people want to link to my sites and increase the PR this way. PR shouldn't be the cause of anything but the reward.
That's my 2 cents. Now, as long as there will be people buying links, there will be people selling them so I don't blame you.
While you are at it, you might as well link to this website: it's kinda of the same business model
