Reciprocal building depicts if u r getting link on any page(website/directory), then u'll have to give a link back to that page.
Niche submission means related to your area. If you are having a travel related site, then you should submit to all travel related sites.

As said above, reciprocal linking means you are linking to a partner and the partner does to you. Does not have to be between two sites, can be 3- or even 4-way if you manage several sites and would like to use a more complicated/natural looking scheme

reciprocal building or two way exchange link is a good way to have good relationship with other webmasters. Its gives equal benefits from both parties involved on the exchange. It's also a good way to show support to each others site, Although its value is less than the value of what a one way link could give. It's alright to have reciprocal links but it should not be a primary or priority on your link building,i suggest you focus more on one way link building strategy campaign.


How to set up Reciprocal links

• Find GOOD QUALITY, complementary sites.
• Place a link to them on your site.
• # Only AFTER you've placed a link to them, email the owner of the site a short, friendly note. Address him or her by name. (If the name isn't on the site, you may be able to find it at DomainTools.com.)
• Genuinely praise something on the site. If you can't find something worth praising, delete the site from your list.
• Tell the web site owner you've linked to their site, giving them the URL of the page where you've place your link.
• Ask for a link back to your site, suggesting a page where the link would be appropriate.
• Three weeks later, if there's been no reply, send a brief, polite reminder. It's easy for emails to be lost or overlooked.
• Use the phone and/or snail mail. A link from a good site is a very valuable thing. If you can't get noticed by email, consider trying a phone call or posting a letter. They're more expensive but also more likely to attract the answer you want.
• Keep an alphabetical record of sites you've linked to and requested links from. You need to know who you've contacted and who you haven't.

Usually may ask your link page need to be google indexed which is where you posted the other party's link.
Of course you need to make sure your link is listed at an google indexed page too.

reciprocal is when you exchange a links not as productive as a one way link, but will still help within the serps they usually have to do with you wanting to exchange a link within a niche and are free if that is what you were meaning with your post.
