Smile A question about index
Last day i serach one page in google,i just put the url in the box,i can see it ,but today i search the same page again,i can not found it,why?
And i know generally we used "site:url" to search whether the page has indexed,but sometimes i search the url directly,i can not see any information about it?
Anyone can tell me the difference about those?

The only reason I would suspect that google did not bring your URL up in a search is it was not in the index. Perhaps google updated and added your site between the times you searched.

But i saw that google crawled my site frquently,but there also have some pages not indexed.You know our site is a b2c website,and maybe due to the some gadget's specification looks similar,so it could not be indexed.Right?

It is not indexed yet the way I see it. Have you tried using the site command "site:domain.com" ? If so, do you see any result? Google indexing has been acting up lately. I noticed that on one of my handled websites.

Yes,i have used "site:domain.com" to search,but no result ,and i have submitted any bookmarks.

Can you place the URL so we could check it?
If the site has been indexed before and suddenly went missing, it probably got de-indexed/unindexed. Perhaps the site violated a Search Engine guideline, or if a site that has stopped building links and had not been updated for soooo long it got de-indexed.

I 2nd adding it to webmaster tools, they'll let you know if the site has errors preventing pages from getting indexed.

yes, i agree with P.O.S that you should build backlinks and update your content all the time. then you will get more indexed pages.
