The only tool that I use is google webmaster tools. Because I want to rank well in google, so I use the tools they provide.

I see no real reason to use any other tool unless its directly related to a search engine - such as Yahoo Site Explorer.

When those people that offer an seo tool develop a search engine, and that search engine accounts for 50% - 60% of my traffic - then I will use their tool.

it depends that what is your target to get . but i do use backlink checking, wordprocessor to check , spelling and grammar, HTML validation, Keyword analysis tools, keyword density tools, index, checking, etc.....
