I'm getting ready to make a push for a new site. I was wondering what your 3 favorite pay directories are other than BlueFind and SevenSeek?

I'm planning on buying 5 directory links, and I already am going to get the BF and SS. What do you suggest?

How much are you looking to spend? There's quite a variance in price with some of them.

12 cheapo links and 1 good one might have a better effect than 5 expensive ones

of cource 500 or 600 reciprical links might work even better but I am not sure

I can speak for the Captain as we are working together. We are interested in building PR at this point. We need 5 quality BL's with correct anchor from well defined, high PR directories. Right now, traffic does not matter -- only SERPS rankings.

We like the idea of paying for a PR6 or 7 link once and not having to hassle with monthly payments. We already have about 400BL's from low PR sites, now we need 5 or so from high ones.

What other directories are out there besides BF, SS, and Yahoo?

serp ranking and pagerank are different concepts

yahoo may cost more than it is worth
you can try dmoz, they are free
www.bluefind.com = $50
www.sevenseek.com = $40
www.incrawler.com = $25

most directories charging a one time fee are not offering PR6 or PR7 links...that was an untapped market position until recently. usually for links of that PageRank you either need to deserve them or rent them.

most directories do not advertise enough to get a good amount of link popularity into their directories
