Pro SEOs - How do you spend your time?

I used to do SEO full-time but then I turned my SEO business into an
affiliate management consulting company, when SEO got too competitive.

Just curious... do any of you Pro SEO's do affiliate marketing on the
side? How many of you make more as an affiliate, doing SEO for your own
pocket as opposed to doing SEO for clients and putting money in their
pocket???

We pay a lot of our affiliates for various programs we manage $5,000 -
$10,000 a month and even more. I know many affiliates that used to do
SEO full-time and then switched, so just wondered about your
experiences? Do you do some of both? If so what's the mix??? SEO for
clients vs affiliate time?

Hi Linda, and nice to see you around again.

I'm actually been trying to find out a lot more about affiliate marketing, but it's a completely new industry to learn. Because of SEO I'm creating a lot of sites for different themes, and figure I should attempt revenue generation from these sites. Only got as far as square one, though - looking.

HI Brian and Ferrett,

Ferrett I try not to "push" any programs but all of our programs are great, so it's just a matter of finding the ones that match your traffic or interests. (FYI I'm not an affiliate, pushing 2nd tier programs I get commission on, I'm a consultant and these merchants are all my clients. I don't get any commission.)
I'm just a MATCH Maker.

FYI since you are a datafeed kinda guy, all of our affiliate programs that sell products have datafeeds and many if them even have an IPC (Instant Page Creator) datafeed tool that's much faster and easier than working with raw feeds.
