I heard that Google is making its new Algorithm that's why we are experiencing web recession now. How true is it?

We are all experiencing less traffic because of the recession, so if all of us are getting less traffic, the serps should not change. Thier is also a general traffic recession on the web during summer months because people are outside more and going on vacation, to the beach, long-walks in the park . . .ect . .. lol

less people are online because its NICE OUTSIDE

Well if I compare the statistics this year with 2008, and 2007 I will say that we are all experiencing less traffic because of the recession.

The numbers talk by themself.

I don't understand why "the recession" would be affecting "NON-E-COMMERCE" traffic . . . I mean its not that bad . . . people aren't exactly selling their computer or anything? not yet anyway . . . lol . . . . Natural Elements I am new to this forum what type or sites do you own strictly e-commerce and if so what type of products / services . . . . also what stats are you talking about stat for your own websites or the whole net? ? ?

Perhaps people aren't selling their computers, but I am sure they cut down on internet connections, tv premiun plans, vacations, trips, week ends out of states, etc.

Unfortunately with millions people out of jobs, I don't think you will have the same traffic like years ago. Now if you own a jobs site you probably haven't been hit by the recession.

That's just my 2 cents.

Honestly, I only heard the "Web Recession" in this Forum. That's why my site's traffic goes down (for about a half of its daily traffic)
