Lightbulb Proper way to establish a niche network of sites for article marketing

I currently specialize in a specific industry niche and had a thought in regards to setting up a network of sites within my niche to further optimize and promote my clients. Below I'll detail my plan and I'd love to hear your opinions on this.

- Launch 10 niche specific sites that will consist of WP blogs that will be used for product reviews (reviewing my client products).
- Each site will receive an original article and none of the articles will be re used.
- I will be reviewing products from about 5 different clients (none of my blogs will be reviewing products from only one client).
- Review will be well written and truthful and only contain 2-3 anchor text links within them.

My questions:

1. Does this sound like a good plan?
2. Should I host each blog on different servers?
3. When registering the names should I register them from different accounts? Or should I just register as private?

I can see where the intent is, but if you launch 10 WP blogs for product reviews, you will have 10 sites to maintain and they are all simply PR0 blogs which carry very little authority or trust (regardless of the username/login/IP). If you maintain 1 site which you update regularly, it will be much easier to begin to rank for this site and earn a PR (it's not a huge thing PR, but just so you know from experience). You could then re-post the articles AFTER posting on your blog, to say 10 article sites (and track the links in Google's webmaster tools) and some of the articles to just 1 site. This will have the same effect, and you have the added bon us of the (possible) reprinting of those articles, so more links.

Just my opinion.

I do mine all on one server, but I see your concern there. I have a smaller network -- about five blogs -- and I need to really work on them. I wish you the best of luck!

1. Yes, sounds good to me!
2. Yes, I believe so it'll be much better but expensive
3. This depends entirely on you. Choose which ever makes you feel comfortable.

Your plan will be great, just make sure you regularly update those blogs. And don't forget to SEO all sites and blogs. Keep in mind that this kind of plan will take almost all of your time day by day, better be prepared.

About the articles on the blogs, 2 links per post will be fine, just make sure you do not over use the same domain/URL. A friend of mine got her blog penalized for placing her site's links everywhere! She placed links per posts, on the sidebars, and even created a banner using the same domain. What's the cost of this? Deindexed! Yes, her blog was deindexed from Google and it never appeared on Google again..
