what you say is probably not the problem so much as how you say it... it is the authority behind the statements coupled with the "prove it to me" posts that wear people thin.

In reality, the sky is *always* falling because algorithms and editors consistantly evolve and improve as reverse engineering techniques improve. there is no defining right answer in SEO. its an industry you must evolve with. it is important to think ahead, but the network works well now. it may or may not in the future.

I would not recomend entirely relying on any single network or network effect for the bulk of my advertising though.

Well it's definitely a "links scheme" IMO, but whether it'll be picked up per se I couldn't say.

Would suggest members should otherwise be squeaky clean as far as having other links schemes in play, though.

As I have said to awall, I'm not likely to be put off pointing out possible downsides just because your sort doesn't want to hear it. They are likely a silent majority that will read and then investigate before jumping into a link swapping scheme.

I bet there are thousands that wish they had investigated schemes they engaged in pre Florida.

Whether you like to admit or not, there are thousands and thousands of schemes out there that have done more harm than good. I'm not saying this is one, but it always pays to investigate before jumping into a link swapping scheme.

I suggest you read about Florida on the WWW. There is lot's of info out there, most is hear-say etc but there is some interesting stuff in the documented Search King case.


Anyway, if nothing else, at least try to read and comprehend the rest of my post rather than cherry pick.

From your posts here, it's pretty obvious you believe in spamming the engines and breaking to rules to get better rankings. And no I didnt ask anything about those. Listen man I'm not trying to rain on your parade here, my intentions are to HELP webmasters, not hurt them. I never said it was a bad network, in fact it sounds like an awesome idea. But there a few flaws in it that raise a lot of flags....that's all. I'd even be interested in participating in it, but rest assured it won't be before I check it out. Would you rather have a manual penalty on your site or find out in advance that it's a possibility. Not for nothing, but you don't seem to be in this for the long run.
