Google not indexing?
i just got a new site up and google has indexed the first page but not any other pages, how long does this usually take? i've also heard rumors that they've reached their limit recently.

please let me know.

depends on your link popularity, if you have dynamic site issues, etc.

I redesigned a site from one page to ten or so. I launched on July 2. Since then, Yahoo has indexed all pages (since about a month ago) but I'm STILL waiting for Google to get past the index page.

I'm in the same boat - 0 indexed through Google yet Yahoo shows 1250 backlinks.
New site - been online for a couple months (since end of July).

I some some new sites online and it took a few weeks for Google to properly index them. So Google is indexing new content from new sites - but it certainly will help to get them well linked to.

Getting indexed is easy, just get a half dozen or so IBLs and use Mod Rewrite if you have dynamic URLs. Getting listed in the SERPs is the real problem.

It's not unusual for Google to index the homepage of a new site, but not any of the sub-pages. Left alone, it should do so within a few weeks, assuming there isn't anything about the site preventing indexing.

To help speed the indexing along, add a sitemap, if you don't already have one. IBL's to the sub-pages can help as well.
