Mod_rewrite mess

There is no perfect mod_rewrite for phpbb forums, I mean I didnt see any.
I used one I got from webmasterbrain. It looks great at the beginning. All URLs except ones at the top are rewritten to create descriptive URLs (category name , thread title), instead of viewforum, viewtopic..
At the beginning it looks like blocking links at the top (memberlist..) will be enough. Then you realize you need to block reply, quote, PM too. Even if you do all these you still have to block view-previous-message,.. Since those are rewritten too, they are all different URLs before ? character. view-prev-mess-vt87.php?....
Otherwise there will be a lot of duplicates. for exaple /topic1-vt1 will have another URL like /view-prev-mess-vt2.php?previous

I dont know how to clean all this mess. Any solution seems to require a lot of time. Search engines are already (confused) not following any links other than homepage.

I will pay $10 for perfect solution.

I'm looking at a soln. for a SEO friendly phpBB mod too. $10 is pretty low for someone here to work on this. I advice you to get someone at the phpBB forums to take the initiative. Also there are other mods available there than the one you've already tried !

Ok, I blocked top URLs but not /viewtopic.php. 200 page indexed. Some with nice URL some with viewtopic. I may try blocking /viewtopic again in future.
