Could someone tell me in easy steps the process of manually submitting to social bookmarking sites and what it entails. I see the ads everywhere but I am wondering just how difficult this process is.

Here is what I do...

#1. Prepare your matter, Title, Description (200 characters or less), URL, Comma separated keywords, space separated keywords (use underscore between each word)
#2. Open 5 sites at a time in FireFox, sign in and open the submission page.
#3. Copy/paste the matter, make sure to check the keyword style, as comma or space separated. Sometimes they are " or / separated, just read the instructions on the submission page.
#4. Hit submit.

That's how difficult it is...

First of all thank you, but I have a newbie question, when you say open 5 sites at a time and then open the submission page could you clairify just a bit, what are the five sites and where is the submission page or button. Also is firefox the go to in order to make the submission possible or simply your choice?

#2. Open 5 sites at a time in FireFox, sign in and open the submission page.

He means you should open 5 or even 6 or more sites on the different tabs. Then find the button on each site to submit your site. Once you get acquainted with these kinds of sites, you do them very fast.
You also use "Auto Fill Form"- a Firefox Add-on to have quicker registration. YOu only need to fill the form then push the button...everything will be filled automatically.

Have you ever tried auto social bookmarking tool such as BMD 4.0? staffs in our company use BMD almost every day for our clients and love it.

1. The auto account creation is what sold us (we use Tor and make a few 5 - 6 different log ins for all the sites)
2. It has a great random RSS feed poster, built in article spinner (of sorts), and a random login option that helps make your book marks look 'less spammy'
3. easy to pick up for the nube and advanced features for the pro.
4. Built in Ping feature that helps the spiders find your bookmarks.
5. The guy is always updating his program so new features abound.

In my option its worth the money. Snuke is another good program in the same field - but I like BMD a bit better.

I have just logged into traffic geyser and then came back and reread your message and then I realized how far advanced you are over my skill set. I appreciate your advice and hopefully I can utilize your info although it may take a bit of time. Thank you again,

So far I have tried quite a handful of automated services and to be honest, I did not like any of them. They either cost too much or they dont work well. So I came up with my own method using Fire Fox.

First I researched for the top 40 bookmarking sites, Then I bookmarked them on my browser thats Fire Fox and put them in folders, 5 sites in each folder. So I have 8 folders.

Now all I have to do is make the mater as stated above and then open FF and "open all sites in tabs" and submit to all 5 sites and then move to the next set of 5 sites.

You can also enable FF to remember your user ID and password in the "tools >> Options >> Security"

Initial setup takes a while like all automated softwares

Takes me about 15 mins to submit to all 40 sites...

With 100% results...

PS: I use the same method for Article, Directory and Video submissions as well...

For social bookmarking, you need to register first in the site you submit your bookmarks. And for success in the social bookmarking, your bookmarks should be placed in the right category with an interesting Title and useful Description to your targeted market.

If you do it in the Enterprise,then Captain Piccard and Lieutenant Commander Data could Socialize with the bookmarks together with you,but if not,then you would have to do it alone.

Why waste your time doing it manually when there are several software that can do this...

If you believe that using submission software can hurt your site, you are living 5 years behind modernization...
