yes i thinks every web sites should have their SEO Strategy for make it's success in online world. because 95% comes to sites only because of major Search Engine like Google, Yahoo, MSN and 75% comes from Google.

If you intend to market your business through your website, YES, SEO is the key to your success. If you build a website as a hobby and you don't care if people find you at search engines, then, SEO isn't for you. Search engine optimization takes a lot of money, time and patience. If you just build a website for fun, you may not want to put too much time and effort in SEO.

As a general rule, it always helps to know a bit about SEO just in case you need it in the future.

SEO is TOP thing for website. You are getting traffic from google if you done good SEO on your site. I did it and I got PR 1 in only 6 days

Yup, it sure is. People who make websites usually want other's to find their site, so SEO means that search engines are going to make that happen.

If the site is your personal one and you do not want to attract attention to it then there is no need for SEO for that site. However if its your money site then you definitely want to do SEO... NO SEO = 0 Traffic = NO sales and yes NO income...

There's no exception when it comes to niche. Any site are acceptable by an SEO if you want to market it online. When talking about PPC, its a matter of choice. If you want your site to be on top of most SE's without exerting too much effort, in an easy yet effective way, go for PPC. But you need to think of the cost if you go through it. It is expensive but it is cost-effective though.

No, it's not necessary. A site can exist without SEO, it might not rank well in the SERPs but it will still exist. SEO is beneficial for SERPs though.

SEO can help your serp rankings and therefore bring in more traffic. If you want more traffic to your site, then SEO is necessary. Otherwise, it is not.

I think SEO is a must thing to do. Via SEO, we make our site easily accessible to SE bots. Thus only then can we expect to get good ranking in SEs. If SE bots cannot crawl our sites properly then how can our sites get good ranking.
