Page Length Crawl Parameters

Does anyone know if and what the page length parameters are for a Google crawl? Do the crawlers ignore all content and links below a certain point?

We just created a homepage site map that's approximately 20x the length of an average screen display.

Think all the links will get crawled or should I reset the index to shorten?

again, thanks for any comments.

I think I remember reading that google only crawls the first 101k of each page? But I could be wrong...

I am not saying I know "exactly" what the limit is (ie kb)..I am saying that the code it what google reads..This is just my experience on dealing with pages that have alot of flash animation.

Quite right - code, not page size, as the graphics aren't parsed.

And how do we "know" this? Simply what the search engines tell us.

If you have a long page, check the cached version at Google to see if it is complete.
