I have some problems with twitter, I cant update new status. Twitter is going down so much times today...what the hell is going on??

Quite a few social networking sites are unstable today. FB was having what some suspected as DDoS attacks too.

I tried registering with twitter for the past 2 days and the page never loads to tell me if I registered or not... I guess I'll have to wait until this hacker thing blows over.

I think twitter people have become cautious . there was a news of somebody hacking the website. Due to this, twitter remain closed for a day.

There was a denial of service attack against Twitter recently, which could have been what you were experiencing.

However, everything seems to be working fine now.
