Is there any easy way to improve Page Rank?

Yes to increase PR get links from related high PR site with less outbound links so that the link juice will not dilute with other sites too much

You don't need good PR for good traffic. Work hard on SEOs to improve your serp positions. That will bring you more traffic. Building quality backlinks with targeted keywords as anchor text is one of the important key in SEO.

You can post 10 links a day. Or you could have 10 of your readers posting 10 links to your site a day. Now which one do you think is going to be more effective? When you have an army of readers, getting more backlinks is easy.

P.S. Don't forget about alternative sources of traffic: iPhone Applications, Google Maps, Pay-Per-Click (some of them are really cheap) etc...

Once you have a good traffic the page rank will increase. That is why
you should focus on generating backlinks.. The suggestions of Mr. Sniper

In this case you can still sreate short stories and contribute them on Squidoo, HubPages or Jamespot.
