SEO has no ending it is a continues work process and it will never end as long that there are businesses online unless that you don't want your website to be search by user.

SEO is never ending, as others have said.
The search engine algos constantly change which means are methods must adapt.
On page SEO can only be done so much, I mean, how many times can you make sure you have H1 tags? So after a while you will focus more on off page SEO than on page.
Eventually, you may get to a stage where you don't actually have to do anything yourself, kind of the position facebook, youtube or other large sites are in, but that is likely to take some time.

SEO isn't like a game with a start and an end, it is more like a film, maybe the 'Never Ending Story'

SEO is an ongoing process. If you have someone spending 20 hours per week doing SEO for your website today, chances are you’ll still need 20 hours of SEO per week a year from now.

But, the process is so much fun, so enjoy handling every challenges that it pose u!

SEO is Never Ends. Means SEO is the Continue Process. If you want your site will appears in Search engine then you have to continue SEO.

Yeah, as you said SEO never ends. Even you have ranked first, it won't stop you still have to do a SEO task and maintain your link building so that your rankings will not done. Its a never ending task.

Seo never end, because always will be site is more relevant for search engine (other not relevant). Seo will die only if search engine will be dead. =)

Hey.SEO is a continuous process.As long as you wish to get traffic to your site you need to perform seo.The moment when you stop doing seo over your site,It will show you decreasing results for your site.So don't think that seo is for time period.

SEO is similar to your daily work where you normally get paid, if you dont work then dont expect any pay at the end. It is a continous activity.

Haha yes as annoying as it could be, there seems to be no end on seo. People will keep competiting over and over for a high spot on serps. So the moment you stop.. you know what will happen. Unless of course if your site is like cnn or some other that is well known already. I doubt they still need seo with all natural links they get and other stuff.
