Unhappy Does google's new update on search result affect the index rate of website???

My website index rate on google (site:www.domainname.com) suddenly went down from 5800 to 5300. It was 6400 two weeks ago. But am doing all the off page activities such as article submission, directory submission and blog posting and social bookmarking as the same way before I was doing. I read that google has done slight modifications in the search result in mattcutt's blog. Does it affect my website??? and because of that my page index rate has gone down????

Well, submitting your sitemap to the Google Webmaster Tool means you're telling them which URLs/Pages of your site is ready for crawling/indexing. It helps a lot! You can also see which pages has broken links

Hi,

Google's updating is a normal thing.....if your website rank went down than it means that your competitors are doing well and you have to apply some more efforts to improve your website rank....Try to make more backlinks with relevant sites, try other SEO techniques also...

I suggest you to do link exchange with relevant, quality site. (Use this as a part of link building).
Keep doing On-page SEO also.

Hi,

Traditionally there are 3 ways for link building:

1. One way link building
2. Two way or Reciprocal link building
3. Three way link building

In one way you have to find relevant sites and then send emails or an instant message to their webmasters requesting them to apply your link to their site.

In reciprocal link building, you have to send emails or an instant message to the webmasters offering them to apply your link in their site and in turn you will apply their link in your site.

In three way you send emails or an instant message to webmasters with the offer that if they apply your link to their site than you will apply their link in your another high ranked site.

In all these types of one way link building is considered as the best. Links Building can also be done by blog commenting, blog posting, classified postings, Forum posting etc.

Hey, there, I don't think they gonna affect the index rate of website. Submit your sitemap to Google, then build backlinks. They will help G find u quick!

Andm, btw, try social bookmarking and social networking, they are fast!
