Web 2.0 include web-based communities, hosted services, web applications, social-networking sites, video-sharing sites, wikis, blogs, mashups and folksonomies. A Web 2.0 site allows its users to interact with other users or to change website content, in contrast to non-interactive websites where users are limited to the passive viewing of information that is provided to them. Here i wanna share some of those properties..

Create pages on these sites and get some backlinks for each of then, then link all of those pages to your main site but remember not to use duplicate or irrelevant content simply to stuff these pages as it will have no benefit.

Use Web 2.0 sites to keep in touch with your current traffic and newsletter subscribers. Web 2.0 sites are a great way to build a relationship with your customers and subscribers so you can get them to buy more stuff from you.

But if you want to generate raw traffic to your site and get people who are brand new coming to your offers, then you need to use the proper traffic channels for that and not Web 2.0 traffic.

Here is the thing - if you can't get visitors from search engine marketing & article marketing - where they are actually looking for what you're selling, and then you're not going to get them from Web 2.0 sites. Focus on going where the searchers are.

I think the best way using web 2.0 is having blogs which is very informative, that is something different form other blogs. And of course using the social networking, like youtube, facebook, digg....hopes this helps .

Web 2.0 sites are powerful!

I don't think I am breaking any rules here (I'm not intending to), but I just had a seven-site Web 2.0 wheel done for a site I recently launched. It's too soon to see any immediate benefit of it, but it saved me a ton of time, and, I believe web 2.0 sites will leverage some major authority and traffic. There are plenty of people that offer such services on this forum. I used the one by kapengbarako in the post "Quality Linkwheeling Service" (you can search for their name or post). I wrote a review in the post. I'm getting nothing out of this except to prop up someone who does good work. That's what forums are for. I know I sure have found a few people NOT to do business with. :~)

One thing about web 2.0 properties, though--you really need to log in and go back and visit the site from time to time. As popular and high PR as they are, administrators are checking profiles and frequency of visits.

Without any doubt web 2.0 properties are the effective ones for driving traffic to our site.Different sites have different procedures to create a web 2.0 page. The more chance of getting traffic can be through submissions of these created web pages..
