Hey thanks for information.As i think the broad meaning of SEO is to get web site indexing in top positions of search engine.The business is another issue.The relation between these two is not that strong.There are many factors deciding on business with web site.The product should be qualitative,It should attract to visitors,Its all depends on your mark in the market..

I allways say to my clients it's not my fault if the % of succes traffic is not my fault if there website sucks for such things there are other experts out there to resolve such issues ..

I think SEO is done to improve your website rank which in turn give profit to your business. In an indirect way both are related to each other. Although I agree that only doing good SEO cannot bring up your business, but in online marketing it plays a major part, as in online marketing "FIrst Come, First Serve" phenomenon is followed.

ya that's right there is an indirect relation between these two SEO and Business.The SEO makes the visitors to visit the site.but the percentage of converting them to sale is also high.but it depends on the rich content and attractively of the site..
