50 websites or 50 wordpress, which is good for SEO?

I would like to find out what solution would be better for my main site's SEO. Which of the following two would be better for my main site?

a) 50 individual websites (regularly updated and optimized) - what are the pros and cons? Any issues?

b) 50 word press pages (regularly updated) - what are the pros and cons? Any issues?

By stating 50 individual websites, you mean 50 different and separate websites with different domains? If this is the case, then having them settled on different IPs would be better. Pros: you have diversified targets with the 50 sites as each will target unique keywords but is related to each other. Cons: Bulky. Too many. It takes time. It needs more resources. I would suggest you redirect all those 50 websites to your main site and focus all your attention and effort to it.

50 wordpress pages: within a site? I think you need to elaborate it more.

I think wordpress is good,wordpress have any plugin tool,just like all in on seo,it could make search engine indexed it very well.

In my view 50 websites each with different & unique content will be more beneficiary. Here you have rich content of 50 sites with different visitors. It will help you more from SEO point of view.

50 Websites : if you are going for 50 websites with good content than it may work if they are

1. Related to each other,
2. From different servers,
3. optimized as well.

Pros. you can get backlinks (permanent)
More unique traffic
may easy to have good PR
Cons. Expensive to have 50 domain names and server space
Not easy to mantain
It will take a lot of time and different content which is not easy to create


50 Wordpress: this can be more helpful, easy to maintain, backlinks are there, updation can be done anytime whenyou have time but once a month

and they are free

I suggest go for Word Press

When it comes to link building, websites will always be better than WP pages. Just make sure that they are from different IPs.

You'll surely ban by WP, if you create blogs and link it to a single site in the same IP.

Go for 5o wordpress is ok but its enough to update it once a week.

Can you tell us why you want to make 50 sites for your main domain SEO ?

You want to get backlinks from those 50 sites to one main site?

If yes, then I think this isnt a good idea as Google love natural links and these are no where near to be natural

Yep! i would second what every body is saying here, a web-site certainly looks more professional. Blog looks serious when it blongs to site and the site people are updating it regularly!

Site with individual domain - more efficiently

Also, If you create 10 wordpress blogs in 1day from 1 IP - you take ban from wordpress.

I agree with Regmac. One good website is far better than 50 inferior quality websites.

Do you have the resources to make each of the 50 wesbites fresh and unique?
