Bold your whole articles text will hurt SERP?
I had a website in first page of google with several keywords, but I changed whole articles' text into bold 2 weeks ago.
Now type those keywords in google, I can't find my website in first page.
Does that action hurt my SERP, or google think my website is overseoed?

Your content should not look like spam , that's it. You can use Bold font at any place without any issue.

Articles with bold text won't hurt your site. If properly use, they can give you a boost to ranking. There could be other reason why there's a drop in ranking.

It says on the post that he altered the whole article in bold which is considered inappropriate. Behind Seo, it looks awkward to readers. Its better to highlight the main keywords that you're targeting coz articles are mend for the readers not entirely on the SE's.

I don't think that making your keyword as bold will going to hurt your ranking. Did u made any changes in your content?

I think font characteristic will never affect your article. If you did keyword stuffing into your article, that will definitely affect you.

Writing the whole article in bold fonts certainly is not a way of developing great and catchy content. It not only will affect seo but also will not entice the readers.

Why would you want to bold the whole article in the first place? It's an improper use of bold text and like Dean says, it will not entice readers. It will drive people away.

bolding text is not going to get you banned. Loads of people accidentally bold sections etc through not closing tags etc, and google would be mad to punish such things.

I think it can affects our sites ranking. bold tag should be use sparingly (1-5 times per page according to length) to emphasise unique
context of page for primary target and secondary keyphrases and also use to assist scannability of page by visitors to help them assess content of
page and unique benefits of products where relevant.

Hi,
I think that converting the whole content of your site in bold would not harm your site but it doesn't worth you also. As i think that if you are using headings in your content and make the content also bold, it will look very similar....nothing attractive. So, i think that you should covert your content in normal.....About search engine reaction on this i have no idea....

I would suggest you not to make all of your keyword bold because as the Sanjeev said your content will look like spamy so just try to keep the originality.

Should not affect at all in my opinion!!! According to google released notes (sorry don't remember the exact URL now), it calculates the density of your specific keywords within your normal, bold, italic and heading content. So if you have bolded the whole article, density of your keywords will remain the same and ultimately should not affect in positive or negative manners.
That's what only I think, may be wrong, you must double sure of this advice before applying my suggestion anywhere...
