You can't bring up am old thread up without doing anything. You need to post in order to return it on the top list of active threads. It's called BUMPing, an abbr. for Bring Up My Post. Bumping in forums is not good, specially for very old threads and I am talking years here. Why bump if you can start your own?

if you are trying to generate traffic from your thread then try to generate some informative thread which gives some result instead of using black techniques.

o.k dotcom i will try to generate my new and informative thread.actualy i want to work in service saction of forum name directory submmission .at that place i hd gerated a thread if no client offer me any job then how can i bring my thread up as u know duplicate thread is not allowed in the rules of forum

For bringing up a thread you need to give useful replies, or if it is your own thread you need to regularly check the replies and give appreciation to most useful replies. Give an interesting heading to your thread.

keep posting new posts in the thread is the only way to do that, but I don't think it is okay if u keep on doing that by yourself!

If a thread is active then it can come to the top but if you have no activity on the thread then it's no use.
