Hi,

For optimizing your web pages you should do these things:
1. Choose at least 5 keywords (for each page) for which you want to rank your web page.
2. Add content to your web page which include those keywords.(each keyword density can be 3-4%).
3. Add Title tag and Meta tags including those keywords.

These are the basic things for optimization, other than these you can:
1. Make keyword as anchor text.
2. Regularly add articles related to your keywords and once they indexed submit them in different directories.

Also check keyword density and keyword positioning on specific pages, the page title should be also relevant.

SEO is an on going process, it doesn't matter if the site is indexed or not!

Of course, since you have already indexed so u can check the SEO effect on your site , and do improvment!

Add alt tags to the images, optimize the copy, use header tags to highlight important keywords as headers, optimize the text used for linking to other parts of the site, optimize the site title, and description meta tags.

Images have an alt attribute! not an alt tag.

Heading tags are for headings, not for highlighting keywords willy nilly or forcing formatting of text.

Hello to make optimization of your web pages, First make web analysis report for your site and identify the factors where you are lacking.Make corrections based in web analysis and then perform seo techniques.To get quick index and traffic then its better to do Directory submissions and SBM,Blog posting and Forums.

Yh promoting non popular keyword is waste... if get #1 in SERP also not drive any traffic.. became waste effort
