If you simply want visitors, you could get an expired domain for instant traffic to get some visitors.
If you want sales, then it will probably involve more work and getting your site some good backlinks using blog posts, articles, social bookmarking, directories, authority sites and the usual backlink ideas.

You need to concentrate your work on your traffic targeted, that's the key.
