Google gives priority if you use adwords
Do you think your site will get somewhat higher priority in organic SERPs if you use Google adwords for it (e.g. $10 / day) compared to if you don't use any?
Consider all other conditions remains the same.

No. Adwords would not benefit you neither SERP nor backlinks.

What would make you think it would?
As a side note, I have heard that google adwords causes a site to be indexed faster. Because google needs to have crawled your site to know what its advertising, the site getting a lot of hits early might cause google to run over and index it faster. Thats the theory anyway.

They are completey separate. This has been shown through my own tests and Google staff have always said the same as well.

Yeah, They are two different thing. You won't get any advantage if you use adwords in your SEO campaign.

No i don't think so...Google is neutral and always gives priority to the good and qualified work done on the website.

There is no connection:
between using Adwords and SEO
between using Adwords and getting indexed in Google.
These are the wrong myths known.

I do not think google is neutral. At this point, we already know that Bing isn't (I'd link to proof but this thing hates my links), and I've heard yahoo isn't, either, but in a less corrupt way. I fully believe google has a biased. I don't think its to adwords, however.

Agree and Disagree
Agree: AdWords and organic rankings are completely separate and indivisible, there is no direct relationship between them.
Disagree: (subtle) if you buy traffic and your visitors like your site, they may link to it, bookmark it, send other visitors who in turn may link and so on. This will have an effect on organic rankings as an indirect consequence of AdWords campaigns.

In my point of view, adword could not take any important roll in SERP and back links. It is all purely depends upon the site quality and user hard work.

I watched out one of the Matt cutt's Video in which he have discussed on the same topic. And he said that, some of the webmaster and SEOs think that getting adwords for your site can get a good SERP position but that's not true until unless you don't have good backlinks and popularity.
So better to waste your money in Adwords you should try new techniques of SEO for your sites.

Google adwords will not give you a higher organic search result rank. They will just, however, list your site on the first lines of the results when one of your paid keywords is used as a search query.
