High PR directory Links

Most directories have no PR on the category page where we submit our links but it has high PR on the index page. Is the link juice from the index page still flow to our links?

I always consider about frequent crawling rather than PR of that page.

I thinks - yes. Directory Submission won't give result quickly. But it will help for you for future. SEO is a long time process....

As I know, the answer is YES. But not PR but in general the value of the directory matters.

I agree in submitting to directories with high pr. If you are new at this submitting to low pr directories that dofollow can be beneficial It's still a backlink. Most of the time you get approved a lot faster than they say. Blog commenting and social bookmarks is the fastest way to get backlinks if they are dofollow. What ever you do don't spam It's not taken lightly. Articles is another great way to get your name out there. Don't forget social media.

Their are many variables that can determine the value of any link to your site and PR is not among the most important. Yes most directories have a high PR on it's homepage, but very little PR for it's category page. If so, the flow of PR will be limited as well.

But what is more important in directory submission is to always submit to the correct category, vary your anchor text ie the title and description a bit to make it natural to Search Engines.

I can't agree with you more.High PR category is not very easy.

Unless it is a big, auhtority directory such as dmoz, Lii etc, then just forget directory submissions - please, you only waste your time.

Exactly. Focus on your SERPs; with better ranking comes more traffic which leads to a better pagerank.

Far from a waste of time. It can take a long time for the results to flow, but they eventually do.

Avoid directories with a standard category dump though.

Yes, i think so because the page is a subpage of the indexed page with high PR.
