How Important Are Article Sites to SEO?

I haven't started writing articles on those article sites, but what's the true value from doing this? Won't I have to publish hundreds of articles to see results in my rankings?

Article marketing is basically just another SEO strategy to gain backlinks. If you're looking for traffic, it may generate some from the link you place in the author resource box but I wouldnt count it as a solid source for traffic although I have heard some stories about people getting decent traffic for articles.

Point is, if you're going to really put time and effort into SEO, don't only focus on article marketing, that is just another element of it all. It's deff worth some time though, I can tell you that.

If they found out that your article is good they will go to your website and they will become your regular visitors. Submitting articles are one of the best ways to increase your website's traffic.

You will see the true value of article backlink building after you did it. You dont need to submit your article(s) to hundreds of article websites. 50 high quality is enough.

People who read your article in article directories click your links to your website... traffic plus PR..

Article directories producec hig-quality links..
