Microsoft SE
I see MS is going to reslease their SE on a test basis. I'd love to try it and see how many problems it can possibly have.

I'm hoping they do great. Not good for Google to have a huge share of the search market.

they had a test version of it up, i think they took it down
great results, at least for most of my sites , seems to love keyword domains
it would better to have searchs spread out a bit, ecspecailly since google runs slow as hell now

Frankly, seeing Google loose some of their arrogance would be helpful as well.

Arrogance? I think they have the right to be so. If you look at the new Microsoft results its just like Google except many pages are missing.
Looksmart provides an truly alternative set of results and very good commercial results IMO.

Not necessarily disagreeing with you but am interested in how and what examples you would use to assume the fact that they are arrogant. Without examples, many people might assume that you are making accusations against the top dog, just because they are top dog. Many other people take shots at Google simply because they don't do well there.
I am also interested in how Google losing any arrogance would be helpful. Helpful to whom and in what way?

Arrogance because no matter what the problem/request I make to them, all I ever see is a form response. Arrogance because I can't ever get a real person on the phone, and I'm managing no small amount of spend with them.

First place with Mexico city
The test version of MS SE is up and I want to announce our first place with the keyword "Mexico city" wich brings 67,667,559 Web results containing "mexico city"
http://beta.search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=mexico+city
LOL I'm happy
Once again thanks to this forum and Mr. John Scott articles.

That sounds more like poor customer service than arrogance. I agree that they do quite a bit of form mail and standard response and frankly, with their coders, they could write up standard responses that don't sound like what they are.
Either that or your idea of "no small amount" is different than their idea of no small amount. At some place, EVERY business has to decide at what level of importance they will assign various levels of customer service.

Yes, Papadoc, it is poor customer services, but my feeling (and it's just my opinion) is that this is because Google believes it doesn't need to give good service, as it has no real competition. All I want is for them to be a bit more hungry.
I suppose their idea of "now small amount" might be different. In fact, I'm sure it is. Doesn't make them right. ;-)

Whats so funny? Looksmart is powered by Zeal members who browse the web and submit pages by hand so it provides a truly unique set of results to all other purely link popularity based engines without human submission.

Thanks. Yesterday when I posted that I was 16 and seobook was right below me. Today I seem me at 12 and seobook is at 20.
They did grab some good text off my page for the description Compared to others that just had the same words varied over and over. Like this one: search engine optimization, search engine positioning, search engine ranking, search engine marketing, search engine optimization Search Engine Optimization Home Search Engine Optimization Company Search ...
Or this one:
.. Improve Search Engine Ranking Search Engine Optimization Offers Search Engine Optimization Search Engine Optimization Pro Search Engine Optimization Pro2 Search Engine Submission Web Site Submission ..
