Will creating lots of links per day - result in ban the website?

Hi guys,

its still a confusion that whether we are able to do lots of links per day. We can see in many discussions that if we do so google or other se's may ban our website. But if we have some exciting topic or new ideas, we can't imagine how many link back we will get with that. So will this also result in a ban? What do you think about this?
