On page optimization means all the optimization you do internally to create a website or webpage search engine friendly comes under on page optimization that includes meta tags, content, designing, image optimisation, page size etc.

I thought On Page optimization is the se optimization on your blog posts and off page is on your main page. Thanks for this info. Clearing things up my mind.

For me on-page optimization is like preparing a product before you promote it to the market.
