I have a high ranked "keyword" blog, with some nice relevant
pr links pointing to it, as well as hundreds of other backlins.
My question
My current homepage is a standard blog with links to interior postes, pages, categories, etc...
I am considering a static squeeze page for my home page, that will have a link to the main blog...with that being said, do I risk losing ranking by doing this? So a static page with a link pointing to the blog, rather than a standard blog with lots of links pointing to interior.
I am realizing how important lead capture is, and a specific, targeted landing page will get the sign ups, but I don't know if it's worth it if I risk ranking.
