How Do I know If my Keywords are being seen?

I have about 20 Keywords in meta tags on my site, in the head, and when I have run different tools to search for keywords, or description, the results dont come up with anything. I havent put descriptions in so, that makes sense but am I missing something?

If the keywords are pertinent then it should be safe to say they are repeated on the site itself. If not, putting them in the meta tags wont mean much. Fwiw I would go ahead and put some descrip tags in. Cant hurt.

20 keywords in the head? is it in thetitle tag?
that's a huge no.of keywords in the title tag.

meta description? meta keywords?

never mind using this... Yahoo no longer using this as a ranking factor...As well as google who never use this as a ranking factor

what is your site so we can take a look....if your talking about the META keywords tag...Search Engines ignore that....if you are talking about the META description then it is probably keyword stuffed! And if you are talking about the page title....Google only reads the first 70 characters so everything after that is ignored.

PM me and I will take a look at your site and give you some ideas

Can't understand your meaning, sorry for that, could you make it more clear?

Don't spend more than 30 seconds to think about and fill in META Keywords.

Meta keywords dont do much.

Google no longer values them since anyone can claim whatever they want.

Meta description is important, since users see that meta in the search it is important.

Hey,

If you have 20 keywords to target in search engines for your website then you can target keywords in multiple pages with unique meta titles, meta description and meta keywords in proper way as per search engine terms and then promote your keywords for high page rank incoming links, so in this way your website will come up for your targeted keywords.

You most likely need backlinks to come up with your desired keywords
