Value of Back Links ?

I recently paid to have my site submited to several directories. I noticed that alot of the directories are on the same IP. Is there any value in this at all?

Yes, getting your site listed in top directories has good values. Apart from getting backlinks with this, you can also get targeted visitors from those directories.

Its not bad but directory not passing much link juice and th elink from it having very less value

Yes, there's still some value you get out of it. But I suggest you also try the other alternatives on seo.

You can get benefit from backlins,for example:more potential clients,more traffic and so on.

According to me it has been less worth than listed in directories with different IP address.

I think that same IP gives you more traffic value then backlink value

I think any link helps more than what you think. Don't even think too long about "wasted" links and just move on towards your next link you need.

Your concerned about sites having identical IP, I think it doesn't have any negative impact in your link building as long as the sites are reputable. I never read anything about websites having the same IP or hosting affecting the backlinks in any kind.

It won't give to much benefit on submitting on multiple sites if the IPs of the target sites are same.

It surly gives some benefit in term of the SERP. It is better if you will be able to get the link from the good sites. Try to submit some article on Ezine and Articlebase for getting quality backlink.

Why would the IPs be the same? Sounds like these are link farms and thats another reason not to like it.

If you did the directory submission with same IP then it will work in future, I mean to say that Same IP directory submission will response you in future for your website keyword ranking.

yes there are value of submitting your site with different directories, but due to the time of inclusion i don't think it was helpful now for bringing your site fast indexing..

Link is still a link. It still has a certain value from search engines(Google). But if you want to achieve more, don't just rely on these old strategies of SEO. Try to experiment and check the result if it will work or not.

Links has values but not the same. The value of the links depend on the website/blog on where the link is posted. If you posted your link on a bad community that will harm your website.

No, if a link is coming from the same IP then Google may discount it. Otherwise every person on earth will buy 100s of domains and host it in their single web hosting account and be top 10 for all their keywords. So, no that doesn't work. It won't hurt your rankings but it won't help you either.
