how effective is the use of subdomain?

I want to add subdomain (subdomain.aspirant.co.sg) to the URL, so i want to ask you peoples how effective it as concerned to SEO.

It is always good to bifurcate your domains related to the niche it belongs to, you will be able to SEO this subdomain in different way, and it will help your main domain indirectly

Better if you create a subdomain for specific section or a distinct area of your business or you may create a relevant blog or forum depending on your need otherwise a website that could really be a standalone would be best with a separate domain name.

the subdomain keyword has been shown to have very little influence on SERPs compared to the file name, so do not expect too much as far as keywords are concerned.

If you are going to add a sub domain for your site its better if you can put some of your keyword too. But i know the effect of this is too small, you can even add a blog, reviews or a forum so that it can be always update.
