Need SEO Proposal
my client wanted a seo proposal from me. what points i should include in it? is it the right format?
Step 1
ON Page Optimization
• Content Optimization - This is a tough one, because you should of course concentrate on your user and easy readability, but you always have to have an eye on the search engines as well.
• Title Meta Tags Optimization
• Internal Link Optimization
• Content Optimization (alt, title, header, tags)
• Error page creation
• Canonical Issue resolving
• XML & Html Sitemap
• Install Google Analytics and Statcounter code for visitor tracking
• Use of robots.txt file

Well, I don't mean to offend you, but are you already an expert in seo? Because I believe you have to be a real expert on that field and have great experience as well, aside from the fact that you should have at least tried almost all ways that is legal before you could really start offering seo services. Now if you happen to be a real expert in seo, I think making a proposal for a client shouldn't really be a problem. =)

I'd check with the client about his expectations. You're primarily dealing with on-page stuff. He may be thinking SEO in the generic sense... meaning whatever it takes to get him at the optimal place on search engines. That'd include link building & general off-page work. If that's what he's hunting for in addition to the on-page work it'd make a tremendous difference in how you bid the job.
Given the difference, might offer him a menu. At THIS price I'll do the on-page work, and for this OTHER price here are some alternatives we could implement to really juice up your results.

It will really depend on what your client wants to be done. Focus on that first and then formulate your plan or proposal out of it. That will be easier.

I know what things to do but how to tell the client about it was the problem. so I thought i should take the experts opinion about it beacuse it was my first proposal.

Hi what about OFF page optimization, and search engine marketing I think you should include bookmarking, affiliate marketing because without these you wouldn't get the back links and without this your seo will be wasted.

His proposal is incomplete or maybe he's only making a proposal for on-page optimization only. SEO is a very huge process with so many techniques to apply, so I guess you should stated on your proposal on what specific SEO work that you want to do for your client.

There are many things that can be considered while writing a proposal. The main thing depends upon the client base you have. Don' ever forget to include the reviews and feedbacks from your clients.
