What is the future of seo/sem

Hello friends i am jacks i am a seo, i am working in this field since two years but my growth is not satisfactory and my friend who are working in development they are earning tripple money compare to me, so i think i should change my fied and select other for my growth i need your kind suggestion please help me

Well...it will going to be change at some stage...few new techniques will be introduced and old will be cut off

you are right. SEO may growing field, but still most labors who are in SEO are under paid. It may change in future.

I guess SEO will still exist in the near future. Because online business is continuously growing up. If you love the SEO field then stay for it. But if you don't like the SEO process anymore, well it's time for you to change your course and go for what you really desire.

I think that the 'future' is in social media...think Facebook, Twitter, Stumbleupon, etc.

This is the case with many people because there are number of Cheap SEO providers who are even willing to work for 10$ per project , this is not fair with professional SEO Experts. I have seen many clients prefer Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladesh, Phili SEO providers because they are willing to work in 1$ per hour. I guess all people in this field should keep there dignity and don't work at low rates that they don't deserve!!

If internet will live i think SEO will be run.i think seo never end may be it modify .So keep some time it will be all right .

As somebody has already pointed out correctly - third world SEO's have killed the market

I noticed SEO's switching to PPC management or getting out of the business altogether, 6 or 7 years ago

I hung on longer than I should and got out 2 years ago - but didn't make a living wage for the final 2 years I did SEO

The credit crunch was the final straw for me - people just stopped spending altogether

I now build my own sites and live off the site revenue

i think that search engine optimization will show us social media optimization. if we can perform this task then we will get lots of boost up from this keywords.

I think the future of SEO is unbelievably good SE alogorithms. Now that Bing has entered the market, I think things are really going to change. Internet Search isn't going away anytime soon, so I expect the competition between Microsoft and Google to heat up quite a bit.

Within 5-10 years, I expect the algo's employed by SEs to be almost as good as real human eyes. I also expect the SEs to employ human eyes to evaluate content on the top sites to ensure that no site can "sneak" in with underhanded tactics.

It's hard to say what will happen, but something tells me SEO will be a completely different animal than it is right now.

As stated...more of the same However I think the spammer blackhat tactics of today will not be around for the Google of tomorrow. The engines are getting smarter. Which is a great thing.

I think the SEO/SEM future is bright, and all you need just now is to hold on and be patient.
More and more business men are shifting their attention to online marketing. The traditional marketing cannot satisfy the ever changing customer purchase behaviours. Online Marketing is the only way, and SEO OR SEM will and should be the best solutions.

I think SEO and SEM they have very good future as they are developing now and more and more sites need SEO or SEM. Also e need very good SEO specialists who can cope all this work. But you should always be up with the world and learn smth new constantly.
