Is there a tool that will check backlink keywords?
Hey everybody,
Does anybody know of a tool that will not only list the backlinks for a site, but also check the keywords used in those backlinks? That is, what key word is used in the anchor text in the link on the backlink's website. Is this asking to much? Seems like something that an SEO champ would have come up with. If not, maybe I'll have to write one (not that I'm an SEO champ). What are some of the gotchas that I would have to lookout for? Thanks.

No worries. I use it and recommend it. They are constantly coming up with revisions for the tool aswell, and you get life time free updates which is cool. If you do spend the dosh on it, you can buy it here Well worth the money IMHO.

Anyone know of a way to check for a specific site to see their backlinks? For example lets say I do a link: www.mysite.com, but out of those results I want to check to see is www.yoursite.com is pointing to me. Also if I am checking these pages is there away to keep a site out of the results. Say I am checking www.mysite.com, but I want to keep www.thissite.com out of the results. Any ideas?

Well if your doing link: www.mysite.com and want to see if www.yoursite.com is pointing to you, well if the site shows in the results the sites pointing a link to you. Im a little confused on the question can you clarify it more or did that answer it?

Well, lets say you have a sitewide link from a site that has 5000 pages indexed by Google. You do a link: www.mysite.com and that site is on every page. I want to be able to eliminate the results from showing that page. That way I get more "natural" results.

Try this in google search "your keyword" -dfsdgsdsd -sdfgsdgsdfg -sdfgsdgsdg -sdfgsdfgsdfg -dsfgsdgsdg -sdfgsdfgsdfg -sdgsdfgdsfg
After you get the results click search within these results and type in your url. It should show all your backlinks than and ommit duplicate links from the same domain. At least most of them anyway. Let me know if it worked.

what keyword you shooting for?
Put that keyword in the search box and after the keyword put in this -dfsdgsdsd -sdfgsdgsdfg -sdfgsdgsdg -sdfgsdfgsdfg -dsfgsdgsdg -sdfgsdfgsdfg -sdgsdfgdsfg
This removes fliters. Now when you get the results go to where it says search within these results. think its at bottom of page. Than out in yoursite.com and it should show your true backilinks with a true count by google

Here is the error that I got:
"Your Keyword" (and any subsequent words) was ignored because we limit queries to 10 words.
