Well if you figure out the meta tags do me a favor i see tons of those stupid Robot meta tags in websites source code. You dont need the robot meta tag unless your restricting the bot. Heres a perfect example of a website with poor meta tags, actually this must be some webpage making software he used cause he didnt fill in all the blanks. http://www.medicationjunction.com Look how he didnt fill the meta tag description in or keywords and the bot meta tag isnt proper either.

I wouldnt really know where to begin to get the best results.
title=Inexpensive Hosting with Quality.
meta=inexpensive,cheap,low,cost,quality,hosting,ph one,support,
Where would you go to look what folks search for when looking for hosting?
Those are the ones I thought of off hand. Maybe someone has some suggestions on these and also others.

META TAGS
Just adding some new tags to my site - have always been a bit unsure about the content of these. I have the text for each product, would copying that text into a meta tag description be classed as duplicate content? Do i need to think up different text for the meta tag?
Thank you
Anne

That's ok as long as you put different meta tags on different pages.. By the way even without meta tags SEs are getting informations on the contents so put titles on every pages...

hmmmm, if you would put your keywords from your content to your meta description, no problem with that. Just put short amount of keywords.

Hmm confused now - does the description have to be in the form of a sentence or can it just be random key words?
I have had the site 18 months and only added meta tags about 8 weeks ago - i managed to get to page 1 for some products with no meta tags at all so i agree with what you have just siad - i had some products that were really struggling to get near the top and as they are some of my best selling products i wanted to give them a boost with the tags.
Just not confident that i have the tags right.
Thank you
Anne
