Using Google Adwords Keyword Tool is the best way to find all this information in my opinion. Allows you to see which keywords have the most competition and how much each key word averages for clicks

I'm currently using Market Samurai for keyword research. This tool help me a lot in finding good keywords with low competition. It's a complete tool with rank and backlink tracker.
In line with the topic of this thread, try to find a keyword with low competition (80k below) with high daily searches (at least 500 up).. You can find it if you have enough PATIENCE
Note: Try keywords with 3-4 words.

Selecting proper keywords is one of the most important area in the optimization of your website. Always choose those keywords which will make some conversions for your business or products in the end.

Not bad tips, but I don't agree with not choosing popular keywords. If you only go after keywords with minimal competiton then don't expect much traffic. I found it takes me around 6 months to gain top position on keywords which get around 10k monthly traffic. Right now I am working on a phrase which is around 50k monthly. I thought like you when I first started and went after low competition keywords. I made it to the top quickly, but found no one really searched for the term. I think it is better to go after keywords that will pay the bills rather than going after keywords which have no competition.

Thanks for your sharing.
But I think this point - "Constantly Change Your Keywords" should be "Using variants of your main keywords".
Have a nice day,

The keyword should be simple and user-friendly. The description must be keyword rich format without stuffing.
You must check these things before select any KW
# Your website niche
# Target audience
# Search Volume
# Long tail or shorter KW

In keyword research you should select long tail keywords but you must also consider the number of searches every month.

It takes time to rank for keywords, why would you throw it all away by changing them daily? That's like running a marathon around Mt. Everest instead of climbing it.

I wouldn't necessarily change your keywords. I would add more, and change the backlinks frequently

Target long gtail keyword, as targeting that is describe the strategy of targeting less-competitive niche markets rather than the hugely competitive broad keywords, though they don’t bring a lot of traffic separately but if you target lots of long tail keywords you can get lots of easy traffic.

Intro to Keywords
I don't anything about keywords except that they go in the head of your html. When choosing the words to put in the head should the keywords come from the content on your page or do you put any word that relates to your site in general?

Are the keywords from your content or your niche in general? Or someone else's niche? Please answer specifically. Thank you.
