Question Please tell me I still exist!

OK - I know I am getting paranoid since seeing one of my sites going from 1 to 161 in Google (and even lower in MSN) but now it seems that I am disappearing here as well. All my recent posts seem to have vanished. So did I say something wrong? Or should I expect to disappear altogether soon?

Have you been doing any kind of SEO that search engines might frown upon?

Phew - thanks for answering John - I haven't gone invisible after all.
I did give some background in this thread. But I did not get any replies.
Since that post my position has worsened in Google - and is so low in MSN I cant find it. Still very high in others e.g. hotbot
I still have PR3 despite loosing an important link. I have emailed Google but have only recieved the standard reply.
My point to them was that I now have the most relevant site (and probably the only site) dedicated to "Maldon archaeology" in the world - so why do I come 160ish in SERPs. Basically either Google or myself must be doing something wrong.

Come on - somebody must have something to say. 114 views and no more than 50 are mine!

The site was always in the top 3 (Google) for Maldon Archaeology. I changed to tableless css and added loads of relevent content - not for SEO reasons but to improve the real value of my site.
I now find myself down to 160 in the SERPs.

Please tell me - Am I wrong in believing my MaldonSX site is the most relevent site to Maldon Archaeology in the world?
If so then why is Google only thinking 160ish. I thought Google was better than that so that is why I suspect that I might have done something wrong.

Not the ones in my sig toddieg - it is www.maldonsx.freeserve.co.uk keywords 'Maldon Archaeology'. I have since noticed that it comes much higher (20) with just the Maldon keyword. I just can't understand what is going on.

Still no comments

However I decided to rearrange the css so that my content appears first on the page. If this makes a difference then I will be relieved to go up again in serps - but very disappointed that Google is not good/developed enough to read content from css. Must now wait and see.

Moving the content up like that should help some I wouldnt expect any signifigant gain unless you had no content before.
