Simply parroting an unsubstantiated opinion serves no purpose.

The correct answer is that there is none that is best.

A reading of this thread will serve to demonstrate why that is so.

BTW, the question was re. SEO, not webmasters.

What specific function points lead you to such choices?

Had you read this thread, you would now know that each and every browser has its own strengths and weaknesses, such that there is none that is "best."

Didn't even attempt to substantiate your opinion.

Had any of your bothered to read the thread before posting, you would know that every browser has its strengths and weaknesses, such that none is "best."

Each of you should promptly read Cricket's thread Quality Posting.

For out-of-the-box functionality without add-ons, Chrome is by far and large the superior browser to FireFox in terms of speed, analyzing and viewing code, etc.

For whatever reason, people are strongly delusional in terms of their beliefs towards FireFox's speed. People herd to FireFox, similar to back in the 90's when people herd to AOL.

One vote for Chrome.

Far too many quaff the Kool Aid of their chosen beliefs, even when facts to the contrary are readily at hand.

Given the plethora of speed tests showing FF to be faster than on IE, one must then conclude that the FF fanatics either:
  • Choose to pretend such data are unavailable; or,
  • Believe that the results were faked.

In either case, they are self-deluded.

FireFox is the best browser for me because of having an availability of lots of addons that help to track website details, save time etc.

If you'd taken the time to read this thread, you would have learned that:
  • Add-ons are not necessarily the best way to perform many functions;
  • Of such functions as are provided by add-ons, very few are necessary;
  • Many add-ons exact a severe hit on performance;
  • Some add-ons can result in your IP Address being blocked, or deliberately being fed false data; and,
  • FF is far from being the only browser to provide such functionality.
