You are not getting traffic so maybe the reason is you do not have a your niche audience. So i suggest you to get your business relevant members to social networking sites.

getting traffic from search engine might be the most effective way. For that you would have to get your site on top of search engine for certain keyword searches. And if you are okay with spending some money in google adwords, it really works. First time I used adwords, there were thousands of visitor per day.

First of all, have you sat down and studied your target audience? Thinking you haven't. Why?
-If you are doing social networking then you are doing one of the following incorrectly: a) You are hanging out at the wrong social networking sites, b) You are promoting your product too much instead of being social c) You aren't posting stuff your target audience is interested in

-How did you build your email list? Do you have a signup on your site/blog where they requested to receive your email messages or did you get them another way? If the latter, then the list you have is not targetted to your audience or you are not writing about things they are interested in.

Think you need to sit down and come up with a plan that meets your target audience's needs. If that means starting over, so be it. It will be worth it if done right.

imo,you should know which one is your keyword,then get more and more backlinks to make your keyword has a good rank on search engines,then i think the traffics would be increase.
