Does it matter if a US targeted site is hosted in the UK?
Hi,

With regards to SEO/SERPs - does it matter if a US targeted site is hosted in the UK? I'll be using a .com domain.

That right no effect on SEO as far as I know but best test it on MSN.com.

Other problems:

1. The server clock is set to UK time
2. Bandwidth is much more expensive the UK
3. The server will bound be slower for users

But I want to know would a UK targeted website be affected if it was hosted on a US server?

It us currently hosted on a UK server.

The domain is .co.uk
