Session ID's in your url

Hey all another problem with my site, someone told me this

"but session ID's in your URL's is going to kill your SERPS!"

Could someone explain what they are talking about, and could anyone help me fix it ?

Avoid to use "id", "sid" in your url's. Example:
www.yoursite.com/gohere-id12.php
www.yoursite.com/gohere.php?id=12

better use:
www.yoursite.com/gohere-page12.php

cos Google for example removed all my pages from it's SERPS with these "ID".
I suppose ID page removal by google is good idea but not allways the best cos it may miss high content pages with such strategy...

...cos that is not a session ID but a variable next to a QueryString and these are 100% ok for Google and MSN (but MSN requires them to be spidered from 1 non-query string page).

This is a session ID...

SESSIONID=ee84f2aec7e834d2a9ddf567d621f5ba
whateveritdontmatter=ee84f2aec7e834d2a9ddf567d621f 5ba

QueryString ID is made up of numbers only and is much shorter.

Google isn't removing pages with "id" in the url. Are you sure yours were removed?

Ghost PR, kinda. It's the PR that belongs to the page without the "?".

No there is no session ID in that URL what you are seeing is a Page ID.

Also as John hinted any url page with ? is given estimate PR and does not need to be in the Google index.
