This is a very helpful list thank you. Now if your interested in free general directories there are a couple thousand over at www.directorycritic.com.

Also something new that I have just found was bing has a forum for webmasters and they allow links in the sig. When I checked the links in signatures they had the no follow removed. It is a PR 6 forum so it may be worth posting a few posts. Anyway here is a link to the forum http://www.bing.com/community/forums/ I find it strange that it is possible to gain backlinks from a source such as bing.com.
