Mass links worth the expense?

I know it depends on the product/service however I don’t believe the market rates for buying mass links is worth the expenditure. For a start you could be wasting the first 6 months because of Sandbox. The only people who benefit are the friends of webmasters who get reduced rates!

What are you opinions.

buying lots of links places that sell it eg: 100 links from one site for $300 a month!

Buying 1 link from 100 sites may be worth it, but I doubt it if they are all from the same site.

This is correct.

I don't see why someone would want to buy a load of links form the same site even though they are on different pages as I can't see the advantage.

Surely it is definately better to get a load of links from different sites, esp different C class IP's as this will carry a lot more weight and looks more natural.

If the site gets a massive amount of traffic, then it might be worth it for the traffic you get from the links. Otherwise, for SEO purposes, I agree with Dominic and G10.

It amazes me how many webmasters think they can charge top dollar for text link ads. Now some can - obviously this forum is a pretty busy site with a strong brand...

I think you should check out the 100 sites before buying links from them. What kind of traffic do they get? Will they put your link among a zillion others?

i think its best to only rent bulk links if you think they have a chance of driving significant on topic traffic or helping to build your brand.
